Lines and Layers: An open representation of contours and content by Joey Like

“Lines and Layers: An open representation of contours and content” exhibit runs June 1st through July 30th in the Bellevue Gallery.


The Opening Reception is June 4th - 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm.

The Bellevue Gallery is located at 107 W. 9th Street, Bloomington, Indiana (between College and Walnut).

This show features the rational abstract paintings of Joey Like, local artist and members of the Visual Artists’ Guild United Enterprises in Bloomington. The rational abstract style features geometric subdivisions, linear interplay and approximate shapes. An online portfolio of the artist’s work can be seen at www.jlikeart.weebly.com.

Bellevue Gallery Hours are from 10am - 4pm daily and weekends subject to theater activity.

"Art & Aging: the third act" - Bellevue Gallery Bloomington

May 7th - May 28th, “Art & Aging: the third act” in connection with Bloomington's Creative Aging Initiative.

*Opening Reception is Friday May 7th, 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

- This exhibit will feature the creative work of Bell Trace Resident Artist infused with the collaborative spirit of teaching artist Julie Hill and Ron Elkins. As an organizational member of the National Center for Creative Aging, Bell Trace Senior Living community is dedicated to enriching life for older people by offering opportunities for creative expression, community engagement, and lifelong learning. These images were taken by me on opening night. I shout out to all artist and those who enjoy the arts in Bloomington to stop in and visit the work of these Bell Trace artist! I hope this new program will receive more community participation every year, and that more young people will come out in support and appreciation of the Elders!
